Registration for my first class is now open!

In this class, I’ll be showing you not only how I paint a landscape, but how I do so in an impressionistic style.

For just $30 a student, all supplies will be provided for you to paint along as I guide you through the process I use when painting an impressionistic landscape. We’ll start with learning what to look for in a good composition, and how to “plan your painting as you paint”. Through the class, you’ll also learn some fundamentals such as mixing colors with knife and palette and basic brush techniques from big strokes down to finishing touches. This class will be geared towards those with some prior painting experience, but beginners looking for a challenge are welcome as well!

Fellow artist Lorrie Mandigo has generously offered the use of her studio for two dates: Friday, September 1st from 5pm-7pm, and Saturday September 2nd from 1pm-3pm. The studio is a short walk from Downtown Plattsburgh, close by First Friday Festivities. You’ll have your choice of which day you attend, but space for both days is extremely limited.
